This was a fun book about two women spies in WW2. I recommend the audio version because it has great accents, and there is a recording of an interview with a woman that was a code breaker in world war 2.

Bit of a slow start but altogether delightful.

THE EXCITEMENTS, by CJ Wray, was the most delighted I've been reading since my last Susan Elia MacNeal or Deanna Raybourne (both of whom have new books out or on the way! HUZZAH!)

2 World War 2 vets, sisters, rely on their nephew to keep them in escapades. And they keep him in overdrive, worrying about what they'll get into next. I hesitate to say the book is charming, but, well, it is effing charming. Fun. Surprising. I want to be friends with nearly every character in the book. And as a proud and loud out favorite nephew, to have one in a story this delightful and informative about history in a way that is entertaining, and never pedantic is extra extra. The novel goes back & forth in time, and the switches are handled w/such aplomb.

Really, I loved this and I hope these aunts have more adventures. TRULY, I know it's tacky but I'm begging - another, please, ma'am!
