Very much in the same vein as other Nero Wolfe books. Definitely interesting and enjoyable.

The characters feel too much like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

This is the seventh Nero Wolfe that I have listened to and I keep giving them 2 stars. But, really, I do like these. They are very predictable and that is part of what I like. I know how Archie is going behave and what Nero Wolfe will do. The mystery is always solved. There is a happily ever after.

Many days, in a book is the only place that happily is going to happen. I am so glad that Rex Stout wrote so many of these.

These Wolfe books are trifles in a way, but SO spryly written, and carry a little added value as a window into the 1930s. The joy of it is to find an amusing piece of serial fiction of which there are something like 40 installments. It's like winning the detective fiction lottery.

Finally found the right kind of Nero Wolfe mystery that I particularly love!
