hmmm. I liked it, don't like the secrecy that much, but it was enjoyable. Found the health stuff interesting withon their dynamic and a good propulsor for the relationship. They kissed so much, cute. He is a robot, but lives her enough to be better. The fake marriage makes no sense at all. Good banter tho, even if sometimes nothing made sense.

okay i've got a few things to say on this. it's maybe more of a 2.5. i liked the writing in this enough to keep reading it but the plot was just so odd and why would he ever do this it's so stalkerish and why would she ever forgive him. the health thing in the middle was quite random and also it's so long and just didn't need to be. final straw was him asking if she'd gained weight during sex

First book of Ella’s I read and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. This story was perfection. I might have to do a reread via audiobook considering the great review @listenwithbritt gave as well, but I will read anything Ella writes!

I don't like writing bad reviews but I feel like I want to share my thoughts on this one.
Before I started reading this book I've only heard good things about it, so I guess because of that I kind of had big expectations and it did not meet them... ? I don't know what I expected really, but whatever I did, I did not get.
First of all, I did not feel any tension between the two characters, just awkwardness most of the time. There was also no chemistry between them and for me the characters felt pretty bland, nothing too special about them and Jack is one of the few MMC's I did not "fall" for.
Second of all, the chapters were waaayyy too long and I feel like the part where she gets sick should've not been part of the story because it gets the book more towards drama not romance.
However, I'm not saying this book is bad, I'm saying it is not for me, I did not connect with the characters and their story. Despite that, I do appreciate the work the author and everyone put in making this.

This is an amazing book if your into slow burn, grumpy, sunshine, and marriage of convenience . I would 100% recommend this book.
