Poorly written, cheesy and ridiculous story line, and had no business being so long.

Gah, too sweet, not for me.
Some parts were not bad, I even started liking it. The characters development was pretty nice and some conversations enjoyable.
But then there was always something missing or too sweet and I would go back to be mildly bored and just wanting to get over with the story.
The whole premise was too weird (like he’s basically a stalker? And she gets so mad at him for the wrong reasons?) but the part where I was like “yeah this is just stupid” was when the main character was worried about what would people think of her when she was carried through Central Park on his arms after she had fallen. Girl, this is New York City, people literally get stabbed and no one cares.

hay algo que escriba MAL Ella Maise? OMG.

Pensé que había leído el mejor libro de ella hasta que llegue a este.

Can't believe that I put only four stars on this book the first time I read it (almost one year ago). This book and its characters is everything to me. It will haunts me my all life, and I'll always dream of having a Jack in my life. My very own Jack. Beautiful, sassy, funny, grumpy, sweet, protective and oh so careful Jack. I love you with all your defaults.
I also love you Rose, but I'm a bit angry with how you hurt him with this very specific sentence (that I won't mention bc I want this review to be spoil free).

However, Marriage for One is an incredible love story between and grumpy lawyer who succeed into convincing the sweet and sunny Rose to marry him so she can have what she has always dreamed of: the possibility to open her own coffee shop.
These two are the sweetest, and you'll keep falling in love with both of them throughout the story.

I especially loved the fact that it is a dual point of view narration (even though this is the very specific reason why my heart aches so much for Jack). Having access to Jack's thoughts truly was my favorite thing about this book. And I don't have a single negative thing coming to my mind (probably bc I think there is nothing bad or wrong in this book ; yes, that review is entirely partial and non subjective... haha).

Well, to finish this quite chaotic review, I only have one thing to say: GO READ THIS BOOK!
Tropes: haters-to-lovers (kind of) ; grumpy/sunshine ; marriage of convenience

well…i guess this answers the question of whether i just enjoy mariana zapata bc of the slow burn. the cheesiness + the alpha male + the lies did not equate to solid romance for me.

The ending is like watching an omelette fell from plate. Very disappointing and unappetizing.

Where was the storyline at? Where was it? I just got bored. Are we also just gonna ignore the fact he kinda like stalked her? And made her fiancé break up with her so he could marry her? Um
