Marriage For One was not my first book by Ella Maise but also my first arranged marriage book. And I absolutely loved it.
I loved how quirky Rose was and how that softened Jack. I loved how loving Jack was underneath his shell.
I read this (thick) book in no time and recommend it to everyone who wants a cute love story.

The one thing I enjoyed about this book was that it was a unique concept behind a marriage for convenience. I love Rose and her spunk as she tries to navigate this marriage that Jack threw at her. Her counting of his smiles to getting him to open up. All because of a coffee shop. Jack is very aloof but I really enjoyed seeing him open up and more with Rose. To say the sexual tension is high between these two is a complete understatement though. When some insane things arise, I do completely adore how Jack was there for her and was wanting her best interest!
Overall, this was a great story, slow at times though but the build up was worth it. It is the first book by this author that I have read and I plan on going back for more. If you want a slow angsty burn, then this book is for you.

I wouldn’t normally read this book but read it for my annual book club. Slow start but really enjoyed the ending, makes me want to fall in love every day
OMG Jack is EVERYTHING. I love him. This book has all my favorite things:
