i absolutely love how they chose to flesh out jester's motivation in the campaign. the contrast between her personality and marion's is wonderful, and it's super clear to see why jester has the tendency to repress her own discontent even though her mother is a wonderful woman. it's so exciting, and the style is electric! a super fun read.

I love everything about it. It's not long but I loved every page. The art is gorgeous. Jester and her mom (ruby of the sea, of course) shine through. And I loved the sketches at the end showing some of the process of making it.
So cute.

Simple plot but absolutely GORGEOUS artwork. Not really worth the $18 price tag but as a Critter and massive Jester fan I couldn’t pass it up and I’m proud to have it in my CR collection. Will I buy all the other Mighty Nein origin stories when they’re released? Yeah probably. Though it might be worth waiting to see if they put them all into one collection once they’re all published.
