This book ended way too quickly. There are way too many loose threads and almost nothing is resolved. I enjoyed the art and there were some interesting ideas, but overall I was underwhelmed.

This book had an interesting premise and build up but it went nowhere unfortunately. Little to no character development and the drawings were stunning but the faces didn’t portray emotions well which I think made the story suffer. The ending was also frustrating but will discuss that a bit further in the spoiler section.
I don’t get why there was no killer reveal or explanation of the murders. Extremely dissatisfying.

Definitely trying to channel 80’s slasher movies with thin characters but has a weak ending overall. Good for the female heroine anyway.

I went into this book blind, but I ended up really digging it. It's dark eerie and has total 80s slasher vibes. Teens start getting brutally murdered in a nice beachside town, and the town descends into chaos. Three friends, each with their own secrets react to the deaths of their classmates in different ways, but really they just seem to ignore it. It's not like their going to be murdered. But when more people end up missing, Pola sees something she can't unsee. Evil really has this town in its grips and she is helpless to do anything about it. Or is she? Fantast illustrations. I really enjoyed this graphic novel.
