I am not really sure how I feel. I know it was a feel good Christmas romance story. The main character was the guy in this story. He was kind of humdrum. There was way to much detail in some parts and really not enough character development. I liked the female character but she wasn't developed appropriately either. I feel the author could have added some more details about the characters as apposed to the details of everything in the hotel.

Charming. Sweet. Not a deep read nor a complex plot. But enjoyable nonetheless.

The Mistletoe Secret was sweet! Cheesy and predictable but clean and sweet and short. I liked The Mistletoe Promise a lot more but still enjoyed this one.

I adored this story and the brutally honest portrayal of loneliness! The main character’s quest to find the writer of the blog was a great journey filled with characters that captivate your heart.

RPE's annual Christmas "relationship" stories have been predictable for some time, but in an appealing way. Emotional trauma leads to thoughtful reflection and personal change, and finally to joy. I never much minded that kind of predictability in novels - it is uplifting and satisfying. This one, though I liked some of it, was less enjoyable than most.

As in most of RPE's books, there was a pall of sadness over the first part, until the characters began to align. But then his protagonist abruptly did and said things that, even in the RPE universe, seemed out of line, unexpected, and just wrong. by near the end of the novel, I wanted to reach into the pages of the book and smack him for being stupid and cruel. And then, what should have caused the female protagonist to run (not walk) was unbelievably resolved in just a few pages. All in all, it was fairly unsatisfying.

I wanted to like this novel a lot more than I actually did. The premise sounded so intriguing, but I got bored super fast. His hunt for LBH was the worst part of the novel. And I knew Aria was the girl he was looking for upon her first encounter with him in the novel. It was so obvious. I wanted to yell at him so many times throughout this book to stop looking elsewhere and figure out that the girl he was looking for was staring him right in the face. It was one of the tropes that I just don't like, which is sadly what brought my rating down for this book.

This one may just be my favorite of the Mistletoe Collection books. There was just something very different about it and it really captured my interest. I’m hoping this one is made into a Hallmark movie too as I’m interested to see how it translates to screen.

Jesus. I don't know why I tortured myself by listening to the 3rd one, except they're relatively short and I like to finish things. I'm getting the impression these overly schmaltzy "love" stories were sponsored by Tiffany's. Divorcee uses extremely unrealistic, almost creepy, pretense to find someone, falls in love in 3 days, random "traumatic" backstory thrown in just to say there is one, and poof, happily ever after. Barf.
