Well that was creepy! I listened to this mostly at night and a few times Stephen Lang's narration made me turn the lights on. Surprisingly, there was real character development by the end of this book. I didn't expect that from a horror novel. I'm waiting to see this on Netflix anyday now. Joe Hill has lived up to his Father's name with this one.
The story evolves quite a bit and things are not as they seem. Good amount of spookiness and a fun summertime read if you like the occasional creepy, macabre story.

2.5 stars. Props to the author for doing his first book! But it wasn't my favorite. I got bored.
I did like how Jude handled Georgia's self-deprecating comments. He would say why she was good despite being broken.

An excellent horror story, with believable characters and realistic hauntings. I had to stop reading it at night, so it took a while to finish on Saturday afternoons. Very memorable!
