Finished this the day after Ms. Grafton passed away. That made me sad. Thank you for the many hours of easy reading escapism.
This was one of the best Millhone mysteries yet, and amazing that it is based off an actual (still unsolved) case. I enjoyed the interplay between Kinsey, Con, and Stacy.
This was a good one. Interesting things in her personal life woven in. Mystery and characters were good.

Liked this one a lot. The pace was even, the story was compelling and the personal stuff (the aunt, Henry, her two co-workers on this case) was equally interesting.
This was a bit of a departure for Kinsey - she'd teamed up with two retired-ish cops in order to solve a cold-case murder.
It took me a while to plough through this one, but that was more lack of time than anything else!

I loved every minute of this mystery. I think the style is a little different from the other in the series, and I really enjoyed the whole investigative process. It's very lightly inspired by a true case, so maybe that's where the different tone comes from.
I liked this one more than the others in the series so far. The relationships between characters is well done, and I found the mystery compelling.
