I literally skipped the entire middle of this book, read the last 150 pages, and didn't feel like I missed anything. Absolutely gorgeous cover, but really disappointing. I wanted so badly to like this, but you just can't win them all.

For those with impossible dreams and for those who feel dreaming is impossible. There is so much waiting for you on the horizon.

So glad I decide to start this audiobook on a whim cause holyyy. The first few chapters made it a little hard to get into given that the world building and establishing of characters wasn’t super attention grabbing but once we were passed that?? I think this book hits on a lot of important life lessons in what it means to be othered by a place you consider home and what it means to love and be loved. Wes and Maggie are two characters who I become so attached to in the end that every decision, good or bad, almost has me crying in public while I listen to it. The narrator for this book also does a fantastic job in reading everyone’s perspective and putting different voices for all the characters. I’m definitely considering getting a paperback of this book so I can mark my favorite chapters and quotes!!
