Obviously one of the most important books in history and literature, and at the same time, we can all agree it's a bit of a slog, yeah?

Haven't read this in full since high school, so I'm listening to Claire Danes' narration of the Emily Wilson translation. So far, the Introduction is excellent. I really enjoyed rereading [b:Beowulf|41940267|Beowulf|Unknown|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1573605332l/41940267._SX50_.jpg|65424883] (I recommend [a:Maria Dahvana Headley|144323|Maria Dahvana Headley|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1427389083p2/144323.jpg]'s translation as a very current, very innovative option) recently, so I'm happy to revisit The Odyssey as well. And maybe I'll watch Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? to celebrate when I'm done :)
