They never even get close to the center of the earth. Funniest shit I’ve ever seen. Verne really knew how to edge someone.

3.5 // My first Jules Verne, a childhood fav of my mother’s. V enjoyable! I have never read an adventure novel quite like this and I have to say, the language was very easy to get through, especially for a “classic”. I would definitely recommend!

I should have DNF this book when I had the chance. It was such a slow death when I read this book.
I have watched the movie and I loved all of them, this book however not my cup of tea at all.
Honestly I think the movie was better and that's saying a lot. This book was probably very popular in 1864 but not 2022.
I'm pretty sure I listened to an audiobook to get through the rest because I simply could not do it myself.
