Big thanks to the author for an eARC in exchange for an honest review! This needs to be on your radar.

This book is such a fun ride. I loved Tilly, even though she’s determined to ruin her best friend Tyler’s wedding. She’s been in love with him for a long time and thinks the only way to stop the wedding is to make sure his fiancée wants to get back with he ex, Zack. While Zack accepts Tilly’s plan, he never seems quite as invested.

I thought Tilly’s character arc was just so well done. Not only does she realize that her friendship with Tyler isn’t all she made it out to be in her head, she also realizes she wants more out of life than working at her mother’s bridal shop. The conversations that she starts to have with Zack are revealing for her. She can’t help but realize that Tyler isn’t the one for her, either.

Zack is absolutely TOP TIER book boyfriend material. It’s so clear he adores Tilly from the beginning. I loved that they open up to each other, and he also isn’t afraid to point out that Tilly’s friendship with Tyler is not exactly healthy. But the bond she forms with Zack is so swoon-worthy. Their banter is so good (and honestly better than more mainstream enemies-to-lovers books I’ve read) and the tension is built SO WELL.

“The sun will always rise and you will always be loved.”

I honestly can’t recommend this book enough and I’m so excited to start digging through Sophie’s backlog!

This was an enjoyable read and a fun, rom comey homage to My Best friends wedding. I honestly did not expect to like Tilly so much given the plotting she was doing but she was very likeable and the journey she went through in the book made sense and had you rooting for her. Loved Zack. I’m a big fan of a taciturn hero who may not always have the most flowery words but is all about honesty and having his actions speak. The energy and chemistry between Tilly and Zoe was really good. I loved how he really saw her and the undeniable connection that kept growing between them with each Interaction. Tyler, I was less keen on and I kind of agreed with Zack’s early assessment of him. Overall 3.5 ⭐️

This was an absolutely fabulous read! I went in completely blind, not knowing much about the story and even less about the author. I couldn't be happier about both. This story was so sweet and written so well, it kept me hooked from the get go. I started off rooting for one couple and ended up fully invested and in love with a different couple. Some ups and downs and maybe a few tears but I loved this story so much that I hope there's a sequel 😉.
