ngl i picked this up because dermot Kennedy posted a snippet on his story and i thought it would be up my alley and i am, indeed, easily swayed by musicians i love but yeah..... i was expecting MORE? it felt so all over the place and academic and bougie which is like the exact opposite of what i think the author intended. anyway, my favorite snippet ended up being the one dermot posted so alas
