Great book if you need motivation to train for running races! I like Robin and learned a bit about her story.
Didn't realize it was more of a training guide directed at people new to fitness. Skimmed. Read the full story of her being held hostage at the wine bar in 2002, very scary.
I am not a runner that enjoys running currently. This books gives tips, tricks, and plans for different distance. She’s a crazy runner so her stories are inspirational but I don’t think I’ll be an ultramarathon runner any time soon!
Definitely something to revisit when/if training for a race. The book felt like a long instagram post, with awesome visuals, great quotes, and some seriously motivational and helpful stories/tips. Love Robin's peloton classes, and this book kinda felt like hanging out with her, very real.

I picked this up on a whim hanging out at Great Wolf Lodge but Robin Arzon is someone who has inspired me so much over the past couple years. I haven't ran in years but have wanted to and her no bullshit approach was the motivation I needed to lace up, shut up and run. I don't know if I will ever do ultramarathons but there was lots of good inspiration and practical advice here infused with all Robin's swagger.
Robin is one of my favorite Peloton instructors and I decided to read this book on a whim and it’s a quick, good read. The advice for running is fairly spot on, the read is quick and the book does read like a peloton work out. If you are looking to start running, there is a lot of good ideas presented and you could do a lot worse than starting here.
A great read and motivator for beginner runners if they need a place to start. Robin’s a great motivator but I wouldn't recommend for more experienced runners (although let's be honest, we can always use the reminders to fuel right and stretch regularly)
