I love reading Stephen King but every time he writes for women or black people it just… doesn’t work.

I enjoyed this as someone who’s seen the film many times. The book has a lot more details and is more engaging than the movie. Could definitely do without all the unnecessary racism though, it took me out of the story sometimes. I was surprised how different the plot is from the film!

Quite nice! I couldn’t help it but compare the book to the film. The first it’s way better, and I really liked it. I think if I read it before the film, I would have enjoyed it even more.
As always, King is very easy to read and inmersive.
