Yeah, I think one just wasn't for me.
This rating definitely one that fits well into the Goodreads rating scale. I thought this was okay. I thought the post-apocalyptic was fairly well done and the writing itself was fine. My problem with this was mainly with the main female character, Ali. I just found her to be so annoying to read about. She completely lacks any self confidence and the way she responded to situations really frustrated me. She makes the same mistakes over and over again. The two male leads are fine, though they are definitely the alpha male type and very possessive so be ready for that. But because I didn't like Ali, I had a really hard time getting into the romance. There was also just so much weird instant attraction between her and Daniel and then Finn just felt like an add-on rather than an actual part of the relationship.
I would defnitely consider reading more from this author. The writing was solid for the most part and the world building was pretty good. This one just wasn't it for me.
