I find Woolf challenging, but this book is like sitting in a busy part of town and following different people around for a day.  She pulls off something complex very seamlessly.

I am interested in reading this book over and over again in the hopes that some day I'll understand every facet of it.
This is not my favorite book, but I am very interested in studying it.

Very good commentary on empire. Some of the most beautiful prose ever. “Did it matter then, she asked herself, walking towards Bond Street, did it matter that she must inevitably cease completely? All this must go on without her; did she resent it; or did it not become consoling to believe that death ended absolutely?”
