 We Have Demons is the first graphic novel in a series of the classic fight between good and evil. This time the fight is literally. There is literally a good and evil element and the balance is shifting.
After the untimely death of her father, our protagonist-Lam, learns about the truth of her father. He hunted demons with a secret crew including a changed demon named Gus.
In this introduction of the series, Lam has to find the best place to put her faith and build her own power to continue the legacy her father placed before her.
Blast, I just love everything about this book. It's so amazing to step into such a well thought out story and illustrations that pair so perfectly. I'm an easy sell with the duo of Capullo and Snyder.
I really love the subtle themes underneath it all, the thoughtful look at humanity and the future we build for ourselves.
Absolute perfection.

This is a pretty solid first issue by a powerhouse team; I'll definitely need to continue reading! Felt somewhat reminiscent of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or the Diablo series.
