the first two thirds of the book was interesting and had me wanting to turn the page. the last third kind of fell apart, especially the last few chapters. i didn’t enjoy the big, climactic revelations coming down to things being withheld from the reader.

This book had a lot of twists and turns but were decently predictable. The couple next door were… different. They didn’t fit into the gated rich community they bought into. The wife next door, Neena, tries weasel her way into the husband next doors pants (William), or his heart? Neena is a master manipulator, hired to help Williams company morale. Cat (Williams wife) can see straight through the facade. I think most women can tell when there is something fishy about another woman & her husband.
Matt, the perfect, doting, love despite the imperfections husband to Neena, completely ignorant personality to his wife’s infidelity seems… unreal. There’s no way he didn’t suspect a thing.

Kept me guessing for the most part. Once it was clear Neena hadn’t poisoned cat I saw the twist coming. Was interesting and moved along enough to stay engaging
