Not what I had expected! This book was a 3 ⭐️ for me it wasn’t wonderful and I had wanted more from it. It was interesting and keep my attention but, I feel as if there could’ve been more!

This one missed the mark for me unfortunately. Although, I really enjoyed a different book by A.R Torre. I couldn't find myself connecting with these characters and none of the "twists" were surprising to me at all. Since I wasn't connecting with the plot or characters the story sizzled out for me about 50% through. I did end up finishing the read but wasn't too satisfied in the ending.
I personally don't enjoy reading about cheating partners so that's on me lol. Buttt it was worse in this book cause there was literally no reasoning behind the cheating. It felt so random and got me HEATED.
This book did have me uncomfortable sooo the writing was doing its job emotionally. I look forward to trying out more of A.R Torres backlog of books regardless!

Kudos to AR Torre for this one. I can’t remember the last time I hate-loved a book so much. I cringed through most of it, despised Neena, and hated the plot around two women battling each other. But despite all that, I could not stop reading.
Eloquently written with twists that kept me guessing who was doing what to whom and what was going to happen next.
Fantastic character development, specifically Cat’s. But Neena’s perspective was so tough for me to get through, that I was tempted stop reading several times. However, the ending was so satisfying that it made the whole read worthwhile.

Wow, what a brilliant read and a complete rollercoaster ride. One should go in blind with this read, so I don’t want to say anything. But it was so excellently written and tense throughout. Fabulous!
