Life is too short to read books you’re not into - I was wanting this book to be similar to Love Languages as a tool to consider when communicating with any relationship but instead it read like a self help book for unhappy couples. All of the examples were polarizing and not at all easy to relate to.

This book discusses the complexity of relationships and people in a simple and digestible way. Every page I uncovered truths about myself and my relationship and learned practical tips to improve and undo deep-seated behaviors and habits. The exercises are woven throughout and will be helpful to reference back to when a refresher is needed. I strongly recommend this book to anyone struggling in their relationship or looking to improve their partnership and theirself.
