One of my favorites. I love Adam Rubin's books.

This is one of our very favorites! So much fun to read and so many opportunities for silliness.

Hilarious & engaging. Who doesn’t love pizza???

Meh. I expected a funnier story.

Sort of outlandish. I hope second graders will like it.

We liked Dragons Love Tacos and thought what's not to like about a Secret Pizza Party? Great illustrations and a lovable raccoon, but in the end when the raccoon ends up stealing the pizza as a means to an end what kind of message does this condone?

I'm front-loading the year with children's books because I had a fun and leisurely trip to the local library with my app. I could have used the computer and requested books that way but roaming the shelves, practicing my alphabet and finding new books by accident was, this time, much more rewarding.

Raccoon and the paean to Pizza. Hilarious.

I think the whole idea that this book grooms children is a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly. That said, it is a bit weird to write a book that encourages children to lie, steal, and keep secrets from their parents, especially under the idea that "Secrets keep things special." I don't think this book is nefarious, but I do think it teaches some questionable lessons.
