OMG I TRIEEEDDD SOOO HARD but i couldnโt bring myself to finishing this series. Something about this book just made me realise how poorly written they are. And the constant repeating of the same phrases in all the books, like Liz girl can you not come up with ANYTHING else?

Rio & Hallie are EVERYTHING.
Rio DeLuca, the man that you are๐ฅน. I loved Rio the minute I met him & love him 1000x over after his story. His love for his family & friends is so strong, but his love for Hallie is stronger. As much as he might have wanted to forget about her, he spend 15 years loving her out loud & when they were apart so silently.
Hallie was the most perfect addition to the group. Sheโs relatable, hardworking, funny, independent, real, and strong. After all sheโs done for others, itโs so nice to finally see her being cared for the way she deserves.

The bond Rio & Hallie had as kids was so strong & while they went through a lot in their past, itโs as if they picked up right where they left off. Between their strong bond & their chemistry๐ฅ, thereโs no denying these two are perfect for each other & I enjoyed the hell out of them finding their way back to each other.
Liz ended this series in the most perfect way & these characters will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for giving us these stories and some of my favorite characters ๐

Would have been 4.5 but the reason for their breakup was pretty crap and was a weak link in the whole book.

I delayed reading this book because I wasnโt ready for this series to be over but it was time. I loved learning more of Rioโs story and he was just as fun and swoony as I expected him to be. I loved the added depth to his character and the discovery of what made him who he was. The mystery of what happened between him and his childhood sweetheart, Hallie, slowly unfolds throughout the book and while dial timelines arenโt my favorite, this one was done really well. I loved the family this friend group has created and it was fun to see everyone as they check in and support Rio. I thought the pacing was a little fast and I was side eyeing some things until a few reveals made it all better. One of my favorite series! Canโt wait to see what Liz does next!
