This was my first Ashley Jade book and when I first saw / heard about this book on TikTok it caught my attention, then I kept seeing it on Facebook And let me just say I was intrigued and it didn’t disappoint! I love books that can make me feel mix emotions in one. Phoenix & Lennon have this complicated relationship that started in their senior year of high and as always life happens and they go their separate way, until they are push together again 4 years later. Will they be able to let go what had happened in their past. What will the future hold for them?
It’s a must read this book will not disappoint!!!
Definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series……

There are so many feelings that this book made me feel. I’m not a cryer but there were a few times I got close. There was comic relief but also a lot of this book was really heavy. Normally that would turn me off from a book but it was therapeutic in a way to feel the characters emotions. My only complaint is I want more. I love me a rockstar romance! Heads up you will want to read over the trigger warnings like I said it’s pretty heavy so there are a lot of triggers.

I absolutely loved this. My first 5 star of the year and every one of the 600+ pages was incredible. This was capital A angsty, an emotional rollercoaster, with a connection between the hero and heroine that bordered on soulmates. I could barely put this down and the only thing that stopped me completing it in one sitting was my need for sleep. Lennon was a heroine the likes of which only Ms. Jade can write and Phoenix was such a damaged hero, only Lennon could save him. There's something about the magic AJ produces that despite how thick she makes her books, I still feel like I want a couple hundred more pages. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
I'm changing this to 3 stars because I really forgot I even read this last month and most of what happened within the book. I think it was ultimately too long and the way things played out in the 2nd half just lacked the angst that was in the 1st half.
I loved this concept, but I think the execution of the 2nd half of this plot didn't really do the characters or their relationship much justice. I think there were multiple times that the conflict could have been resolved and it would have been satisfying, but it continued to drag on and more obstacles were added.
When I read a romance book I want to have a specific moment in the story that I can't get out of my head, but I don't have any significant moments like that from this book.
I'll definitely be giving Ashley Jade another chance because I did find the story easy to consume and the writing to be enjoyable, and I think a lot of her story concepts intrigue me.

I held out on reading this because I was sure it couldn’t be as good as everyone said. The reviews I saw were raving about this book. My thoughts…
So much unnecessary drama!
I enjoyed the first 25% but then it felt like it just went on and on.
Smut was good
I did not like the MMC, I’m sorry but he never redeemed himself.
I know he’s a rock star but honestly she could have held out abit longer if she actually hated him.
Far too long
I skimmed the last 20% I just wanted it over and done with and felt too committed to DNF
Fat girl loses weight and everyone suddenly thinks she’s beautiful 🙄
The writing was good, the story and characters were not.

Finally, a MC who isn’t stick thin with absolutely no imperfections! This was so refreshing to me.
What an amazing story this was. Such raw, relatable topics. Lennon was such a strong female character who had me laughing, crying & raging with her. I also loved how when she did lose weight, she made it clear it wasn’t for revenge, it was for herself. I loved reading that part, because no woman should be changing anything about themselves for a man. If you want to change something about yourself, you do it for you.
This was definitely a roller coaster of a book. It was entertaining, funny, sad, heartbreaking, relatable, spicy and beautiful. The 5 star rating was an easy one for me.
