This book left me speechless. Phoenix is a badass rocker, who is about to fail high school. He gets set up with a tutor named Lennon. Lennon has some self esteem issues, but gets really comfortable with Phoenix. He eventually screws Lennon over in high school and they lose touch. Until, Phoenix is in need of help while on tour with his band, Sharp Objects. Needless to say, they never got over each other. The way the author writes is so easy to read and get captured by the story. The character development is amazing and you really learn to love the characters.

I absolutely devoured this book!! Lennon and Phoenix are both so beautifully broken. Their story starts off as seniors in high school and go through part of their adult lives. I love how strong Lennon is. She is seriously a bad a$$!!! Phoenix loves in his own way and makes mistakes, but he finally figured it out in the end!

kinda reminded me of Wattpad books but in a good way, if that makes sense. I enjoyed this a lottt. Yeah, it was kinda cringe and stupid at times, but honestly, those are the books you end up binging at 3 a.m. like your life depends on it.

This book was REALLY good: I still haven’t found a rockstar romance that compares to Bittersweet Symphony, but this book had me feeling all sorts of emotions!

God, I hated Phoenix. For what he does in the beginning of the book, & then being a complete asshole when they reconnect. But he went through SO much & people handle trauma differently so I understood why his story was being told the way it was. At first I felt like there would be no character growth for him - but towards the end of the book you realize it was gradually happening all along throughout the book.
