So, I happened to catch the first and last episodes of the original series (which I had loved 25 years ago). So, now I'm going to have to watch the new series, and this was a great way to get back in the mood for this.
This actually tied up far more loose ends than I was expecting, and confirmed some suspicions from the Return. Really enjoyable read and a must for any Twin Peaks fan.
Clears up things I wondered about
I'm curious to see what the other books say, and I almost want to do a rewatch to see what the series shows now because this is very curious of what happens to characters that are briefly mentioned as well as happenings that are mentioned in the series that interweave the book.
This is fascinating, and I read it casually as I was waiting in line, on the couch, in my car.

Now I see why the response to this was muted in comparison to the creepy, enlightening, and multimedia formed Secret History. This is just brief chapter after chapter filling in the blanks, a good third of which are characters we never see in The Return. Honestly, this might have been better as an online document, similar to HBO's Watchmen files.
Super short, doesn’t really tie up a ton of loose ends but still fun.
An invaluable cpmpanion to the 2017 return
This is a fantastic read for die hard Twin Peaks fans and answers a ton of questions that were hanging out there..but not everything! And I want more, of course..fingers crossed for a fourth season!
This is a beautiful comfort book that takes you back to 1990 and the original series of Twin Peaks while also explaining some of the goings on from Twin Peaks The Return. This short book is one to wallow in; sit back and enjoy spending time with some of your favourite characters who may not have been given a look at in the latest series.

This is a very enjoyable companion piece to Twin Peaks: the Return. While there’s not much new you learn about the mysteries, I definitely feel I have a much better grasp of what happened at the show’s end.
