I loved the final dossier; it felt much more grounded in Twin Peaks than the secret history of Twin Peaks (rather ironically). I enjoyed delving into what happened to the characters of Twin Peaks in such a succinct way and pulling together some of the pieces laid out in The Return, especially the ending.

After the Showtime limited event series, Mark Frost published this second Twin Peaks book. In one day, I read this and its predecessor, The Secret History of Twin Peaks. Both books are incredibly fascinating, presenting many answers and even more mysteries for the hardcore Twin Peaks fan. Although I felt The Secret History of Twin Peaks was slightly better, most fans will want to read this one, as it mostly bridges the gap between the original series and the new one. However, it is very important that you don't skip The Secret History of Twin Peaks. The books do go hand in hand (like "health and industry?"). No Twin Peaks fan should be without these books.
