For a short story, it was very well written and was really interesting.

one of my favs, liked it enough to reread. i love the way this author writes the fmc's internal monologue, it was so witty and hilarious, and at times dramatic and spirally.  i thoroughly enjoyed it.
on the diversity: they are both white, but
when it comes to diverse mental health rep, i think this book covers a lot in that respect. The fmc deals with so much trauma and ptsd from her past and the mmc isolates himself and has past trauma as well

This story is sad and dark and oh so incredibly sexy. Once again Charlotte Stein is talking to every trigger I have like she did in Sheltered. But she does it with a compelling story, a very rare trait in erotica.

Already knew this author could write fantastic stories, but this one blew me away. She reached a depth of emotion in such a short amount of pages that is hard to find in any book. I am both impressed and tragically disappointed that she didn't take this story farther. So wonderful.

An incredibly powerful book about the redemptive power of sex.
