Definitely a fun read for anybody interested in dinosaurs.

I think the premise of having dinosaurs in a zoo setting offers a fresh perspective that we don't usually see in dino-media. The dinosaurs are not overly aggressive, but they remain dangerous and are highlighted to still be wild creatures. It really makes the dinosaurs resemble our modern animals more, which makes them seem more real and lifelike to me.

I really enjoyed how later, the manga questions what the relationship should look like between humans and dinosaurs. Is breeding, and genetically engineering dinosaurs, ethical? Was not expecting to think about that when I picked up this book.

The main character is a typical optimistic and clumsy archetype, but there is potential for change and growth. The cast of other characters steadily expands as the series goes on and I'm finding myself enjoying getting to know them.

The only big flaw for me is that the artwork is not as good as most other manga, imo. The anatomy looks a bit off a lot of the time, and poses/expressions tend to look very stiff. It's not the worst, and it's definitely better than what I can draw, but I would go into this with lower expectations than one would for a very popular manga.

The minute I saw Dinosaur manga I knew I had to check it out.

For a dino-lover, this was a fun and unique universe to be thrown into - Dinosaurs were discovered alive on a remote island and were brought into a zoo-like facility to be monitored and explored. Through research, breeding, and genetic manipulation, the dinosaur population has increased. A novice dino-keeper steps up, determined to create an experience at Dinoland that will keep people coming into the park and thus save the dinosaurs from extinction.

I truly had such a lovely time reading this book. It was dinotastic in all the best ways, and I think it can very easily appeal to a wide audience of readers.

This book was not only entertaining but also informative about Dinosaurs. I loved the premise of a world where Dinosaurs had not only been discovered but were able to be brought to life which reminds me a lot of Jurassic Park only with a more in depth storyline and that there are Dinokeepers who take care of these Dinosaurs.

I loved that an actual paleontologist was consulted throughout the book and there were parts of the books where things were told from this person's point of view and his inspiration in choosing to study Dinosaurs.

I highly recommend this book!
