Although I am a fan of the genre and the premise wasn’t much different from similar books, this book doesn’t only lack spice (that I could live with) but also salt.

I liked this book overall—Faye and Rush were both really likable, and their story kept me engaged. The emotional layers and the way their relationship developed were done well.
However, I don’t think I’ll finish the series. I’m not interested in Maverick’s story. Considering his sister went through something similar to Faye, I found his treatment of her disappointing and insensitive. It felt like his behavior was brushed off too lightly, and that left a sour note for me.

I really enjoyed this book, I'd recommend if you're in a book slump and looking for a quick easy read. There's also no 3rd act breakup which is great!
Faye was a little too stubborn which was frustrating at times but Rush was so patient and caring. I think my only criticism is that the book was too fast paced, it felt like we'd skip a month between each chapter. I've never finished reading an unplanned pregnancy book and felt like I'd missed most of the pregnancy but that was the case with this book. Which was a shame never I would have loved to see more of Rush and Faye.
