Really intriguing premise! Got better as it went along.

This was an interesting read. It started slowly as a standard YA fantasy book, but shifted about halfway through to a creative and thrilling story. However, I’m not quite sure what to make of the ending. This almost feels like 3 different books wrapped in one.

Loved the book. Slightly creepy vibe. The only reason it wasn't a 5 star is because I wasn't invested. I didn't have a hard time putting it down. I wasn't dying to read it.
I think this was one of my biggest let downs as far as anticipated reads goes. I generally love a good FOREST themed book. Trees/forests are my JAM. This however, did not deliver. It got real weird there at the end. And tbh, I’m not even entirely sure what I read?
