Pretty sure the ending of this book just broke me. Excuse me while I curl into a ball and cry.
4.5 I LOVED this book the begging great middle amazing the end a tad bit sloppy and a little bit too tidied up but the cliff hanger WORKS with the story soooooo excited for the last book

This book drove me a little crazy. The first book was so good but this one fell short. It was all over the place. The plot didn't always make sense. My suspension of disbelief was pushed to the limits. Plus, the main character drove me a tiny bit crazy. I still mostly enjoyed it but can't help but be disappointed that it was nowhere near as good as the first one.

As hilarious and entertaining as the first book, I can't seem to get enough of Sage's/ Jaron's antics. But I must admit, he's a little subdued and serious in this sequel, You can see a tougher, more courageous, and selfless ruler Jaron is., thou I must admit that there are times that his decisions and plans are a little bit foolish and dangerous., but I've come to expect it from no other than him, so it eventually worked at the end

First book was promising, this one was frustrating and probably killed any desire to continue. Stupid decision after stupid decision and seemly only to put the characters where the author wanted them. Things happen because of…reasons.
