I loved the first book but this one didn't do it for me. The competition was boring. The characters weren't all that interesting. The constant repetition of the show's little spiel for the episodes grated on me.

This was very good. They did a good job with the reality show - I could believe it was a real reality show. I liked the characters and the conflict made sense.

That was interesting, the game/reality show was engaging! Of course, all the descriptions of food were wonderful!

But that ending? Awwww...kinda just the beginning, right? I want to know what happens. LOL
