First and foremost this novella had me clutching parts of my soul for Avery and Hudson! This novella had really good way of building the relation Hudson and Avery has. I also appreciated that this story was not necessarily your typical office romance story. Hudson patiently waiting for the right moment to be with Avery.
Hudson is going to be one of my top book boyfriends with his dominant sexy as hell self.
I just kind of wish I had a story of how their attraction was like when they worked together. Give me all the angst please lol

This book follows Avery working at her new job, and Hudson finally reaching out to Avery after years of hiding his feelings for her. Avery has been crushing on her now ex-boss for 3 years, but never make a move because they worked together. After Hudson reaches out to Avery, Avery still thinks that a relationship won't work between them. Eventually, Avery's wall starts to break down, and things start to move really fast between Hudson and Avery.
Eva's writing is so addictive. Once I start reading, I can't stop! I loved this novella so much. Very fast paced, short, and spicy. There are so many good spicy scenes that will have you drooling! There is a small plot to this book that is easy to follow. I love these characters, and I'm going to binge the rest of this series!
Also, let's not forget Mr. Hudson's DIRTY mouth 🥵

I liked this novella, but I didn’t love it. And I honestly can’t put my finger on why I didn’t love it. I feel like I just wasn’t connecting with the characters.

This novella is HOT HOT HOT!!! Mmm mm the way Hudson goes after Avery relentlessly.. the way he wraps her hair around his fist.. the way he gets turned on by just looking at her is *chefs kiss*. The spice was amazing, the plot was super fun.. all in all it was a great world to be part of. The ending was kind of rushed a bit. I definitely would have liked more of Avery & Hudson’s story together but I thoroughly enjoyed this novella! Plus Hudson is hot!!
