I wouldn't read it again, but uts nice to read an old book with no spoilers. This us a book that made me think about what it means to be human, and I think that's the point. It can be pretty brutal and slow, but it was nice to listen to as an audiobook on my walks to work.

Victorian scientist on a deserted island, What could possibly go wrong?? While the philosophical questions were vast and unfortunately still relevant today, the story was very wanting. The characters were all unlikable and flat and the questions were unanswered.
