This book is dark and graphic. But it was nice to learn about Sibby's past and understand her a little more.

Such great vibes. Satan’s Affair is a dark erotica novella, which I devoured and (some may think its a horror novella)tremendously enjoyed.
Sibby has a unique way of deciphering evil and expunging them from this world with her henchmen in tow. She is crazy and rightfuly so.. The setting is a Haunted traveling carnival, and what better way to rid evil.
“I’m not crazy!” I screech. I take a deep, calming breath and arrange the smile back on my face. “I’m just passionate.”

I love a good blood thrusty heroine and H.D. Carlton nailed it!!!!. I absoutly love where she went in this novella. This book is full of blood, gore, guts,and steam. Heed the trigger warning it's not for the faint of heart. I can not say enough how highly I recommend this book if you have love all things dark. The cover is a work of art and a must to add to my bookshelve.

when i first started reading this book, i was going to give it a 4.25 bc i hated the FMC on the audiobook. but i found the right audiobook with a way better FMC voice. when i got to the epilogue i got very confused, but it made sense in a way. overall this book was good and i can’t wait to read the next book!!
I loved Sibby in Haunting and Hunting, and I’m so glad we got to see her side of the story. HOWEVER, this was literally darker than anything in Zade and Addie’s books. Like, parts of this one were sickening to me. And I have no triggers whatsoever.
I will say, I think it’s worth a read to complete the series if you can handle it. If I would have read this beforehand though, it would have scared me right off from the duet before I even finished the first chapter. It also has spoilers, so definitely read it after the duet. The ending was so so good, so that made it worth all of the “WHAT is happening right now and WHY is this okay to read about” moments!
