This is an Outlander novella that follows some of the correspondence that happens behind the scenes around the same time Claire and Jamie would’ve also been chasing letters and trying to stop the war.
This novella can be beloved for the time period and I found myself attached to Minnie and her perseverance. I would’ve liked to hear more about how her life worked out after the thrill of an ending.

I really loved this one! I loved Minnie and her relationship with her father. I loved hearing Hal’s story (I havent yet read all the main books, if he appears in them). The  adventures of Minnie were fun to ride along with, and the increasing mystery about Hal and his situation and what she should ‘do’ was sufficiently compelling. I listened to the audiobook and the voice actor gave different characters different voices and made it really entertaining and fun.  It was romantic and lighthearted too!
