Enjoyable, easy to read. A great book to take along on vacatioon or when you are in need of a pleasant love story. It was just a little too predictable for me but most of Nicholas Sparks' book follow this same set story pattern

I stopped reading Nicholas Sparks years ago because he is very predictable. This book was no exception. I saw the ending from "miles" away. True, I didn't know exactly HOW it was going to happen, but I knew from the very beginning who Beth will end up with.
LOVE Nicholas Sparks! Great story, very different from the movie but I highly enjoyed both. Strong characters and intriguing romance. Definitely in my top 10 favorite Nicholas Sparks books!

Beautiful story, the characters are so likeable... except for the "villian" of course. The movie left out all the good parts, eventhough Efron is super hot, I don't recommend the movie.

Finished the book this weekend. Good book. Not his best work. Nicholas Sparks has done much better.

Not an ending that I expected, the book took a minute to get through all of the background info and to figure out why we were given that much information. All in all I really enjoyed the book..
It's typical Nicholas Sparks in its over-dramatic ending, but the story was really well-written & intriguing. Definitely one of his better recent novels.
