Reread/Relisten#3: April 2024
Bumping up the rating to a 5 star!

Love these two, they are my favorite couple that i remember from this series, and that still holds true at the moment haha!

Reread/Relisten#2: May 2022

Same rating as before. I just love Harry and Ev's dynamic, its so cute and nerdy haha.

Reread/Relisten#1: June 2021

Still the same as before Harry is such a sweet innocent character that you just wanna squeeze!

Can’t wait to read about Perry now that the audiobook is out!

Original Read/Listen May 2021
Audio: 5 stars
Book: 4 stars

I enjoyed this I think more than the first Harry is such a sweet and innocent character you just want nothing bad to happen to him.

This timeline is almost parallel to the first book, you see some of the same major events playing out in this book but obviously in another perspective haha

Everard and Harry are great their banter is perfect and made me laugh more times than I could count. Also I think it’s also because of Michael Ferraiuolo’s narrations, he does such a good job with the timing of all the jokes and how people should say them.

Now on to Geoffrey’s book, I am a bit hesitant since I am not a huge Geoffrey fan but maybe the next book will change my opinion!

In my last review I was hyping up Perry (who still owns my heart) but HARRY! Harry is such an incredible character oh my days. I also loved the way he experienced his demisexuality, it wasn't made a big deal, it was accepted and quickly understood. I genuinely loved everything about this book. The characters were just as, if not more, incredible than the first instalment- and the plot has gotten even more so intriguing. Has anyone counted how many different foods Ev has called Harry? Because I need to know. For science ;)

Not bad, but these are definitely brainless crowd pleasers that I don’t read for substance. I’ll keep these in mind for palette cleansers.
Also these have mpreg and it’s a core concept in the whole series so if that’s not your jam then skip these.

I enjoyed this one. It was fun to see how the larger plot was coming together and the ripple effect of the first book. Harry is a delightful character and paired with Everard they’re a great time. There’s quite a bit of humor despite the seriousness of the rest. A solid continuation of the series.

I loved Ev and Harry together.
You come into this book thinking Everard is quite a jerk but truly all his sarcasm and nicknames are meant lovingly. His need to protect his family made my heart all soft and fuzzy.
I also just loved Harry. His spouting off of random facts about reptiles just killed me and so did his lack of realizing early on how much he affected Ev.

I loved that Harry kept his personality from book one. His innocence and earnestness. I’m also glad he got his hearts desire.

Update:
This was even better on audio!!! I am so looking forward to revisiting the rest of series!

Setting aside the fact that Everard's terms of endearment for Harry made me ravenous, I genuinely enjoyed this book. I appreciated the humor, the quirky characters, the well-structured plot.

Everard and Harry were very likeable and hella fun to read about! I loved them.
