Whew, this book was a lot. I bought the audiobook because the narrator does a good job bringing the story to life. I didn’t love this one as much as the first but I still liked it. The mystery is crazy! Honestly, I enjoy trying to figure out the mystery. I did not figure this one, there was a lot. Looking forward to the next one!

A sequel to, Find Me, but good enough to mostly stand on its own if you haven’t read the first book. I highly recommend the first book though, not only was it a great read but you’ll understand the characters better. I liked the small scope feel of Tell Me, it doesn’t cover a large expanse of time or region. I’ll be picking up the next book in the series for sure! Book #50 in 2022

Similar to the first, also a quick read. There were portions that contained exact duplicates of what seemed like non-critical details from Book #1 so felt it was somewhat repetitive.

I really enjoy this series. The characters seem so real and deep to me. The first book was incredibly intense and this one was too, but in a different way. I'm usually iffy about flashbacks to the POV of the killer when he was younger, but it worked in this book. Reni is just plain cool and I love how smart she is. She thinks of things from a different perspective and in a way that makes the story move along smoothly. Anne Frasier's writing feels so real and I really hope we haven't seen the end of Reni and Daniel. I plan to pick up her other series so I can bond with some other of her characters!

Last summer I picked up find me and I absolutely adored it! This true crime mystery sucked me in just like the first one did. We follow Reni as her and Daniel work together to solve the murder of a hiker and finding the 3 missing girls that she was with. A few of the twists were predictable but it did not stop me from reading and loving it! We also got a lot of answers from the first book which was so satisfying. If you love a quick afternoon mystery, this one full of secrets and twists is just the one for you!

I didn't think I would enjoy the second book as much as I did the first because typically I don't. Well I was wrong. I really like that they continued the story line in one aspect but went down a totally different rabbit hole with a different crime. Although they reveal who the culprit is, the twists keep coming. I also enjoyed the hint of more of a close relationship with the main female & male characters.

3.5 stars, rounded down. Compulsively readable but I enjoyed the first in the series more.
