gimme alllll the small town, fake dating romances. seriously, please place all of your recommendations in the comments. i am a slut for them. they make me squeal and kick my feet kind of happy. especialllyyy when they act like they hate each other but they're secretly falling in love like lol, stop.
avery hates emmett with every fiber of her being yet agrees to fake date him to help with him when his mayoral campaign. why? because he agreed to help her buy the restaurant she manages. bish knows what she wants and won't stop at anything to get it. the banter was a 10/10. cozy, small coastal town vibes were on point. bonus points for the eccentric townspeople.
this book sparked my love for stephanie archer and i will be forever grateful for her. pls read her books ty

This was cute don’t get me wrong but it felt like they caught feelings a bit too early on for my liking.
I’m in love with all of Stephanies books, she writes so well and the dual povs make the books so much better, I’m gonna be so sad when i finish all her released books. This book we perfect fake dating/ enemies to lovers, I like her she hates me yes please!!

I would never let Avery down like her dad had. I wasn’t like Will - i didn’t know what kind of guy i was anymore - but i sure as hell was going to live up to Avery’s expectations.

Her arrogant fake fiancé? She can’t stand him. Cocky and charismatic Emmett isn’t the relationship kind of guy, but now that he is running for mayor of their small town, his bachelor past is hurting his campaign. He will co-sign for her restaurant loan if she plays the part of the devoted fiancée. The lines between real and fake start to blur and she sees another side to Mr popular and she wonders if she has been wrong this whole time… but it’s all fake right?..
This was a small town, fake marriage romance and I ate this up, this was such an addictive read and I generally couldn’t put it down, it was a fast paced, quick read. I absolutely loved Avery and Emmett’s relationship, the banter and witty comments between them had me actually laughing out loud. My favourite scene from the book had definitely got to be the turtles chapters I don’t think I have laughed cried at a book so much. I’m so glad I started this series, it’s such a refreshing read and generally great as a lighthearted series. I can already sense this will be one of my favourite series!!
