This wasn't a terrible ending to the trilogy. I did feel it was a bit over the top for the whole story. Very extreme =\ I guess in all the drama everyone gets their happy endings.

This was a little hard to get through. I get exactly why the author portrayed their healing so in depth. It was certainly realistic, but it got tedious after awhile. Part of that's my fault I think. I shouldn't have binge read all these books. It got too dark for me. However, I think the overall journey of these characters was amazing. Their growth was done in a completely realistic way and in the end they were stronger together for it. I loved it when they finally confessed their secrets. Truly beautiful.

After every book of this series I think that there is no more to tell. After the second book I was satisfied with the ending and I had hard time to get into the third. It felt to long at the beginning. After Tess final recover the book got thousands times better. But I understand that the story needed to be told.

I love this trilogy! I LOVE THEM! They aren't for the feint of heart or the people who like sweet love stories. These aren't it. These are dark and gritty and touch on very controversial topics that you can't help but be uncomfortable with and yet... it's a love story. Two broken souls with consuming demons finding their own worth and meeting their soul mate along the way.

How do I even begin to describe all my thoughts surrounding this book? This series has been one like no other I've read before, and I mean, honestly; surely these characters (and us readers!!!) have been put through enough? Apparently not. I can just imagine Pepper Winters sat there at her laptop, watching while we break apart at her words, and laughing at our pain.
I was a little worried about this one, with it being so long - twice the size of a lot of novels these days!!!! I have a tendency to get bored when it comes to overly long books, and I wondered if Pepper had enough story left to fit inside all these pages, without it just being a lot of "filler". But by the time I got half way through TWISTED TOGETHER, I thought "Thank God that this isn't it!" I was definitely not ready for this story to end.
Pepper has absolutely no need for "fillers". This book was jam packed with emotion, and fast paced, angst filled, raw and gritty, pure, unadulterated passion, and a continuous, intense need for more! I just couldn't get enough. I think this quote from Q, about his feelings for Tess, perfectly sums up my love for this book -
~I thought I loved her before. But that was before I had any fucking idea what love really was. It was nothing, nothing, compared to what I felt now. I was possessed by her. Totally consumed.~
I'm hooked. The twists. The turns. The seemingly never ending events of the unexpected. How does she do it????? I honestly have no idea, but I pray that she never stops. You NEED to read this series!!! It's impossible to fully explain the true amazingness of this book. Of ANY of the books in the MONSTERS IN THE DARK series.
Every book in this series has just got better and better, and messed with my head and my heart, more and more, until I'm a wreck of a reader, completely owned by the power that Pepper weaves into her writing. She has created something that will forever live within me. Q Mercer is the Master of my heart.

It reads long then the page count on Kindle of 330 but the intensity and emotional rollercoaster that I endured was all worth it. This book in the series had a beautiful mix of humor, twistedness, darkness, endurance, sexiness, and triumph. I think Pepper succeeded in give us more of Tess and Q without tainting the beautiful story that was already written.
I would love to hear about a little Mercer baby or a spin-off about Franco and Suzette.....

This book is loooong. Too long in my opinion for the third in a trilogy. As much as I praised her long scenes in the last book, they were too much in this book. He spent half the book trying to fix her, and while I didn't want it rushed, it was too much. I think a bit of editing would have helped. Plus, there was just too much story here. Too much happened to this couple over the long haul. I would have liked this book to be about her recovery and them living out their lives together. More character based vs. story based.
And, I'm 100% convinced that Tobias King from the Ravenhood trilogy is based off of Q's character. I think even some parts of The Finish Line were inspired by this story. There are just too many similarities. I'm definitely not complaining. I love Tobias' character, so it was fun to slide him in to this story and have him have an even darker side.

Svim srcem mogu da kažem da sam volela ovu knjigu. Volela sam da gledam kako se Q i Tes bore protiv svojih demona i neprijatelja, i izlaze iz njihovih borbi zajedno. To svakako ne znači da oni ne izlaze povređeni i sa modricama, ali su preživeli. Jedna od meni najboljih stvari u ovoj knjizi je to što su oboje konačno dobili priliku da se reše svojih čudovišta, ili da ih barem prihvate.
Q još jednom dokazuje da ne postoji ništa što on ne bi učinio za Tes. Ona i dalje ima ožiljke koji je sprečavaju da u potpunosti uživa u životu sa njim. Tes dobija šansu da opet postane jak borac, jača nego što je ikad bila.
Volela sam dvostruki POV, kao i u prethodnoj knjizi, jer sam osećala da sam konačno rešila misteriju zvanu Q Mercer, zato što on ovde pokazuje sve svoje strane. On je bio pun ljubavi i nežan, posesivan, ljut, neobuzdan, zahtevan, ali i sladak i zabavan. Imao je teško detinjstvo, a ja stvarno ne želim da mislim kroz šta je sve prošao u ovoj knjizi. Skoro da sam doživela nervni slom čitajući pojedine scene.
Ovo je svakako najduža knjiga "Monsters in the Dark" serijala, ali obiluje požudom, ljubavlju, isceljenjem i paklenim scenama.
Prvi deo knjige ide malo sporije jer se Tes i Q još bore sa događajima iz prošlosti koje žele da prevaziđu kako bi se svim srcem prepustili zajedničkoj budućnosti. Drugi deo je mnogo intezivniji jer ih posledice njihovih postupaka konačno sustižu. Čitanje ovog dela knjige je bilo ko hodanje po iglama.
Obožavam kraj! Moje srce je igralo od sreće i zadovoljstva, a epilog je savršen završetak njihove jedinstvene priče.
Volim ovaj serijal i ako ga još niste pročitali, ja ga od srca preporučujem!
