The writing style of the first entry was pretty terrible. 2nd, about the Iron Hands, was boring. The Last two, about the Lion and Alpha legion, were OK.
Wouldn't recommend.

I have yet to find a Warhammer Anthology that doesn’t have a filler story.
Not the best in the series, just because of the inclusion of the Fulgrim novella. It really goes on, and confuses the lore. I say skip that part and just read the wiki page if you want to know what happens.
The Iron Hands book was VERY slow to start, but the last half of it or so was entertaining.
The Dark Angels story adds a lot of intrigue to their legion.
The Alpha Legion novella was excellent and should have its own release in paperback if it doesn’t already.

Probably the worst of the series so far for me.
The Primarchs brings exactly nothing to the overall narrative in this collection of four novellas. While the stories themselves had their moments (few and far between mind you) they failed to develop the story, the characters, or the wider lore.
If, like me, you're on a Horus Heresy quest this is one volume you can safely skip.

It was fine? Pretty nice insight to the iron hands for one of them, but otherwise the other stories were just fiiiiine.

This book had it's moments. However this didn't last across the 4 novellas. Not the best in the series.

Hard to rate this collection of novellas because the first and last were OUTSTANDING, while the middle two were just fine.
