A great pallet cleanser after a hefty book. I've always loved listening to books read by the author, but I didn't realize until I started it how much I'd missed his voice. Leslie certainly has the gift of gab, and this feels less like a book and more like coffee with a dear friend.

I love him and it was funny but it wasn’t what I expected. It didn’t get “deep” and I feel like it could have been better if he had. I still love him and miss him. I just wanted more

Leslie Jordan was such a gem in this world. I took more notice of him around the same time a lot of the world did, during his rise to Instagram fame at the height of the pandemic. My friends and I would share his videos back and forth when we needed some light and humor.
I listened to the audiobook version narrated by Leslie, which is only a little over 4 hours long. It feels like you’re listening to an old friend tell stories. Lovely, just like him.
