4 ☆ 

I read this as an audiobook (which does count as reading!), and this Novella was super cute! The world-building was well written with its short time, the characters were likable, the spice, the jumps between 3 weeks ago and the present, Erik......Erik in general 🤭

But there were some cons! I HATED that there was a miscommunication trope. Like, just talk to the man?? Then again, the Novella would've been 50 pages if there was no miscommunication. Still, it made me mad.

This book is so short it doesn’t give you enough time to become invested. I zoned out a few times and was so confused on the timing of everything. Whatever.

2.5⭐️?? as much as i like ali hazelwood, this is where i draw the line LOL

the fmc was so annoyingly quirky…hard to believe she’s an adult.
