A good sequel, a bit drawn out at times. Feels a bit like xmen. Noah is addicting and keeps me from putting the book down.

TW ~ Paranoia, self-harm

I loved this book! ❤️

Mara is placed in an outpatient program after a breakdown. She struggles to figure what is real and what isn’t and what is happening to her. Noah is still amazing and reassuring with his declarations of love and efforts to find what is happening to her and what is going on with the both of them.

I liked that from Mara’s point of view we are seeing things as she sees them so when she goes in circles and is struggling we see it up close and I LOVED the twist near the end. I am really starting to like this series which makes me sad that it’s almost to an end but I am still excited to read the next book because I want to see how Mara gets her revenge!!

I love how to plot keeps getting more and more complicated in these books. There is so much that we think we know, and then you always find out more that changes everything. This such a quick read, same as the first book, and the story and its characters are addicting. I can’t wait to finish this trilogy and find out how it ends.

“If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If we were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.”

Wow. Just wow. I never know what to expect next from this series, and I love that unpredictability. I was on my toes almost the entire time! I cannot wait to see what the final book in this thrilling trilogy will hold.

The book redeems itself within the last 200 pages or so. But the writing is just...so bad. I’ll still finish the trilogy because the concept is interesting enough to continue.

Review to come.

It has been a few days since I have finished this, and I still can't wrap my mind over that ending. Holy cliffhanger. The first book was a WTF is going on kind of book, but the second took it to a whole other level.

For the most part it was fast paced and kept me guessing what in the world could possibly happen next. So many twists were thrown at me that I was not expecting.

And that ending, WAHHHH.

I still can't even process my thoughts.
