This was okay. It seemed similar to the Kay Scarpetta books by Patricia Cornwell but not as good. There was suspense, but some parts seemed really obvious when perhaps they were meant to surprise the reader. In places, the writing style seemed too casual for my taste.
This was another good book from Kathy. I always enjoy the series. I suspected what was going on in the beginning and begged Tempe to figure it out sooner.
After 100 or so pages I just could not get into it. Started out great then the dialogue just bored me, making me skim a lot I'd it. Finally decided to call it quits.
I didn't enjoy this that much, maybe because I haven't read the previous books or because this was so different from the TV-series, which I enjoy a lot.

I really enjoyed this; after a slow start it really picked up and I was intrigued and wanted to read more.
once i was able to wrap my head around the language, i started to enjoy it a lot
For some reason, I read these books backwards. Out of curiosity I picked these up because of my love of the TV show Bones. The books are different but still have the same elements I love. The characters in the books are not the characters I love on TV but I am learning to love them too.

After so many Temperance Brennan novels, they all start blurring together. I figured this one out in the first quarter of the book and just kept waiting and waiting for Temperance and Ryan to catch on. Maybe I´ve just grown out of these books.
