Turton’s first novel, The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, was beyond brilliant… what happened here?

Short and fun mystery! Feels Sherlock Holmes but I liked it better than Conan Doyle

The set up was so long that I completely lost interest halfway. Kept waiting for it to get more exciting but it didn't.

A little bit slow to get into but once it got cracking? I enjoyed it thoroughly and will be looking forward to Mr. Turton's next book.
